Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is 4Stripes?

For BJJ, and in many martial arts, each stripe on your belt signifies that you are one step closer to reaching the next level. Getting the fourth stripe means you are very close to reaching a goal and if you work that little bit harder you will achieve it and attain greater knowledge. This is the ethos of our company which is why we chose the name.

    • We organize high quality immersive martial arts camps.
    • We are promoting Hong Kong as the capital of Asia for learning about and training in Jiu Jitsu (or martial arts in general).
  • WHAT DOES 4STRIPES STAND FOR?

At 4STRIPES we celebrate the best kind of awesomeness – the kind that comes from perfecting yourself. Our Mission is to promote Jiu Jitsu and martial arts in Asia, and to create opportunities to train with the world’s best instructors. If you are OK, we will make you good; If you are good, we’ll make you awesome.

  • WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE 4STRIPES?

    • 4Stripes is the only organization in Asia if not the world, that offers such immersive and complete training experiences. We ensure as low a student to teacher ratio as possible.
    • We devote more time to exploring important details, concepts, as well as fundamental techniques.
    • Each lesson is designed by the lead instructor and 4STRIPES to ensure you are getting the best curriculum.   Each lesson builds on from the last through a series of drills and instruction methods.
    • We place emphasis on carefully assessing each student’s skill level and take the time to observe and correct common mistakes in technique.
    • The headline instructors and their coaches don’t just clock off and disappear after training. The aim of our camp is to give you the opportunity to really interact with them during off time and meals. Attendees are free to engage with instructors who are happy to share their experience with everyone. We at 4Stripes believe that this open atmosphere is the most important part of the camp.
  • CAN ANYBODY FROM ANY TEAM OR ASSOCIATION JOIN?

These private camps cater for all Jiu Jitsu enthusiasts, female or male and of all belt levels.
