4Stripes BJJ training camps bring the world’s best martial arts instructors to Hong Kong to lead, teach and share. Workshops on fitness, nutrition, flexibility, strength, movement, conditioning, yoga and meditation are also held throughout the camps with the aim of complimenting intensive BJJ training.
All training sessions and workshops will be conducted in English.
This is a Gi only camp. You will need to bring your own training outfit and/or kimono/gi. For hygiene reasons, please bring as many items of training clothing as you think you will require for two days of vigorous training.
If you are travelling in from overseas for the camp, you will need all personal items that would typically be required for a trip of about five days. Of course, if you plan to stay longer then you should pack accordingly.

All levels are welcome, however, our camps are rigorous and in order to get the most out of them, maintain a high level of training for everyone, we would recommend white belts that you have at least a minimum of 10 months of consistent training experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu before coming.

Only registered attendees can attend the camp and workshops. You will be asked to present a passport or other valid form of photo ID such as an identity card or driving license. The name on the document must match the name that has been registered with the camp.
We welcome practitioners of all ages however if you are under 18 your waiver form must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Yes but please let us know in advance so that we can change the name of the registered attendee. Please note that tickets cannot be transferred and fees will not be refundable after the deadline of 1 October, 2016.
Hong Kong has some of the best hospitals and medical facilities in the world. Should there be a medical emergency, an ambulance will take you to the closest hospital. Please make sure you have valid medical insurance or travel insurance before you come to Hong Kong. There will also be first aid responders and equipment in the hotel to assist in the case of minor injuries.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, like any other Martial Art is a contact sport and by taking part you acknowledge that there is a risk of injury or even death. By signing the waiver form and participating in a 4Stripes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp, its training sessions and associated workshops you are taking responsibility for any injury that might occur and neither you nor your estate will hold 4Stripes, its staff, the instructors or any other camp attendee(s) liable if any such injury or death occurs within this sporting context. You will be required to sign a waiver form before starting the camp.
Yes, you can. You can arrange directly with the hotel for rooms to accommodate companions that are travelling with you but not attending the training camp. Please note that only registered and paid attendees can attend the camp and workshops. Meals are also not included for people who are not registered for the camp.
You will need a valid passport with an expiry date of at least 6 months from the date you return. Also make sure there are some free pages for entry and exit stamps in your passport. There is currently no vaccination requirement for travellers visiting Hong Kong. However, travellers should observe good personal and food hygiene and adopt anti-mosquito measures to prevent infectious diseases.

The camp will take place at Open Heart Dojo, 5/F, 9 Des Voeux Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. (across from IBIS Hotel from Sheung Wan). It is It is about 10-15 minutes walk from Hong Kong’s Central District. All lessons and workshops will also be at the Open Heart Dojo.
